A fierce winter wind howls outside as you sit before the solace of a warm wood burning fireplace. The wood cabin and the stone heath around you radiates a nourishing heat as you sit content and protected from the raging winds of a winter storm beyond the thick cabin walls. The only thing louder than the whistling wind itself, is the crackling wood burning fire as it dousing the room in a firelight of reds and oranges.

Continuous and non-stop for 10 hours. Fades to a black screen after a few minutes to reduce light pollution.

This sound is perfect for relaxation, for sleep, meditation, study or even inspiration. These wind sounds continue non-stop for 10 hours. This soundscape/ambience recording of the wind blowing outside while a cabin fireplace roars inside is perfect as sleep sounds, for relaxation, for meditation and more.

This soundscape is a composite of some crazy chinook wind sounds taken during the fall/winter of 2017 near the Rock Mountain foothills by Calgary, Alberta, and campfire sounds taken during my summer in the mountains of BC in 2017.
