Okay, if I were Shakespeare, I wouldn't have wasted my time on Romeo & Juliet romantic stuff. Nope, I would have been writing an ode to the Box Fan. Mind you box fans weren't invented back then, but Shakespeare was ahead of his time so that's no excuse. I would have written glorious iambic pentameter, extolling the virtues of white noise and how it helps one sleep all night long. But, I'm not Shakespeare and he was too busy cranking out Hamlet and probably behind on his bills since writers are always underpaid. I'm sure he would have appreciated a good box fan sound, though, and I hope you do as well. Let me know what you think in the comments :)
Westinghouse Vintage Fan Sound for Sleeping 10 Hours w/ Dim Screen
Enjoy this Westinghouse fan from the 1950's! This vintage fan sound for sleeping 10 hours is like no other fan sounds of today's modern plastic fans. I really had a blast setting up this video production to create this relaxation sleep video for you.
We rented out a small box truck so we could record in the back of the truck. The large empty space really added extra echoing reverb to the fan noise, which is exactly what we wanted. This helped to amply the fan sound while keeping it relaxing for sleeping. Use headphones or a surround system to hear the full dynamic range of fan noise from this old school fan.
We played around with the lighting until you could see the back edge aluminum corners of the box van shinning ever so slightly in the sides of the camera. For this fan video we used my Nikon D7500 in 4k as it sat on the floor looking up at the fan. We then dialed in lighting so you would be able to see the fan blade turning slowly, while also being able to read \«Westinghouse\» across the front of the fan with a purplish blue glow that I found very relaxing. Let this combination of a slow moving fan, the deep heavenly sound, the soft glowing lighting help you drift off into a full nights sleep.
The fan noise audio was recorded from multiple locations throughout the back of the truck. We then combined all the different tracks into a single fan sound that is better than the original fan!

Sleeping to 7 Bedroom Fan Sounds + Gentle Rain Sounds 10 Hours
Enjoy sleeping in front of 7 bedroom fans with gentle rain sounds for 10 hours of sleep ambience. It was a rainy night on this particular evening before I went to bed. The rain was soft and gentle, which was perfect for sleeping. But of course I wanted to take my relaxation to the next level, so decided to sleep in front of 7 box fans with the wind blowing on me while I listened to the rain sounds. So here is that video! To record the rain sounds, I placed my tascam hand held audio recorder on the window seal to pick up the gentle rain sounds all night. I then set up the 7 box fans around my bed with them all facing me, so I could feel the wind blowing and gently tugging on the sheets as I comfortably slept throughout the night.
You'll notice that once I flip the power switch to turn the fans on, the room lighting dims and the purple led lights create a glowing fan ambience that is gentle for relaxation. All the fans were on the fastest speed, for the most air movement and fan noise possible. I used my Nikon camera to record this relaxing sleep video for you my friends.

A Nikon D7500, Multiple Go Pro's, A DJ Mavic Pro Drone, A Tascam DR-40 for most of the audio recordings in mp3 format at 320 kbps, a range of microphones including a Sure 57 for that nice low end sound, a Sennheiser Sgun for the high end sounds.
