Фильм о работе Московского уголовного розыска (МУРа) в послевоенные годы. История двух антиподов — Глеба Жеглова (роль Владимира Высоцкого) и Володи Шарапова (роль Владимира Конкина).
«Место встречи изменить нельзя» — советский пятисерийный детектив, режиссёра Станислава Говорухина, экранизация по роману братьев Вайнеров «Эра милосердия» (название фильма совпадает с названием первой публикации романа в журнале «Смена», № 15—23 за 1975 год). Сериал снят на Одесской киностудии, съёмки начались 10 мая 1978 года и проходили в Одессе и Москве. Премьерный показ состоялся по Первой программе Центрального телевидения СССР с 11 по 16 ноября 1979 года.

I used to drive semi trucks, and as you well know many truckers sleep with their engines idling all night long. It is a very rhythmic, constant sound.

This video was made from a subscribers request! It goes out to all the diehard diesel guys, who want to hear a diesel engine run while they work in there shop, or while they are at home in bed! This is also great for our nations truck drivers, when they need to fall asleep but aren't in the truck! Hats off to you guys.
This diesel engine was actually in a motor home. So we set up my Canon HD camera in the back of the motor home, on a tripod. We pulled the engine cover off, and started filming. That is my uncle that actually starts the engine and then revs it up before we let it idle for 12 hours with the camera rolling. I used sony vegas video editor to finalize this video production and tweak the sound until it was just right by laying the engine sound multiple times. What do you think of this relaxing video? Here's another thank you to all the diesel truck drivers out there who have trouble sleeping when they are aren't on the road. This sound features the sound of a diesel truck idling. Idling semi truck sounds are a different way to fall asleep at night, and may be a great sleep sound for you too. Idling diesel truck to the rescue.
Do you like food, having a roof above you, or wearing clothes? Thank a truck driver. That computer you are looking at didn't get to your house via magic flying unicorn. Somewhere along the line, there were some truck drivers involved.
