Видео можно смело назвать небольшой репетицией большого шоу певицы, которое состоялось 30 марта во дворце спорта Мегаспорт. Именно там Полина представила новую программу, насыщенную хореографией и постановочными номерами под визуальное сопровождение команды «Сила Света».
«В клипе на трек «Меланхолия» я много и необычно танцую, через танец выражаю свою эмоцию. В видео есть элементы контемпа, классики и даже трюков» – комментирует Полина. «Я обожаю танцевать, для меня это абсолютное эмоциональное освобождение». До этого клипа танцующую Полину Гагарину могли видеть только зрители на концертах певицы. Постановка сложных, прежде всего физически, номеров, была блестяще выполнена Сергеем Черкасовым – профессиональным хореографом и автором всех танцевальных концертных шоу Полины.
Съемки ролика прошли в Москве в легендарном отеле «Советский».
Подготовка к видео длилась несколько недель. Съемки продолжались 3 дня, 2 из которых съемочная группа работала по 20 часов.
Полина Гагарина, помимо исполнения основной роли в клипе, стала сорежиссером, большинство ее идей было реализовано в ролике. Режиссером видео выступил Заур Засеев при участии Павла Худякова в работе над сценарием и концепцией проекта.
