One man leaves the city life behind to build a cheap off grid log cabin and homestead in the Canadian wilderness, including a log home, an outdoor kitchen, an outhouse, a woodshed and a sauna bathhouse. Building mostly with hand tools, Shawn James harvests building materials from the forests north of Toronto, Canada and crafts them into functional tools and shelters using traditional woodworking tools and methods. He practices bushcraft and survival skills every day, including fire starting, tree identification and harvesting, wild edible foraging, fishing, hunting, camping in the summer and winter, travelling by canoe and snowshoe, navigation and water collection and purification.
Continue watching in 2019 as Shawn finishes the sauna, plants a forest garden for fruit and vegetables, builds an underground root cellar, ice house and cheese cave, a timber frame workshop and a remote hunt camp closer to fish and game.

Wow, this was a fun video to set up and create! I wanted to go over the top for a Halloween special, and this video is that! I've combined many individual sleep elements from my previous videos, all into one super sleep sounds video! The first of which is a neon painted box fan, and glows underneath the shining black lights that I've turned on all around the room. As it starts to spin it creates almost a type of rainbow visual of a color wheel!
After I turn the fan on, I then lean down and turn on an air cleaner that has a wonderful white noise to it. I've slept many naps to just this sound alone. From there I then move on to turn on a Tesla plasma ball that gives you wonderful dancing light patterns to focus your eyes on as you fall asleep! I absolutely love them. They seem to go in all directions at once, yet never miss a spot. After that we turn on an electric heater! What fall or autumn sounds sleep video would be complete without a rumbling, warming, glowing heater!
Then, just to the right of the heater, we turn on an old school humidifier from the 1980s that has a lovely deep rumble to it like no other. This rumble really completes and fills in the gap in the sound from all the other white noise machines in the video. Finally we move onto the crescendo of the video and put 10 pounds of dry ice in a 5 gallon bucket of warm water. This creates an amazing bubbling water sound effect that completes our symphony of white noise! Similar to a brewing cauldron sound. What do you think of this unique creation? ЛПЛ Ушакова — проект сверхмалой летающей подводной лодки, создававшийся в Советском Союзе в предвоенный период.
СУ-100-Y — экспериментальная советская тяжёлая сау, построенная
на базе опытного тяжёлого танка Т-100. Была выпущена в 1940 году в единственном экземпляре.
К-12 (Жар-птица) — прототип советского бесхвостого бомбардировщика с двумя двигателями М-22, приближавшийся по схеме к “летающему крылу”, над которым К. А. Калинин настойчиво работал, отыскивая пути к сверхскоростному высотному ракетному самолету — летающему крылу.
Противотанковая собака — специально дрессированная собака с укреплённым на ней зарядом взрывчатого вещества, применявшаяся Красной армией во время Великой Отечественной войны против танков вермахта.
И-250 (МиГ-13) — первый советский цельнометаллический одноместный скоростной истребитель разработки ОКБ Микояна и Гуревича.
Бутылкомёт системы Цукермана — ружейный гранатомёт — бутылкомет конструкции Вениамина Цукермана, изобретённый и запущенный в производство в июле 1942 года. Предназначался для
метания бутылок с горючей жидкостью.
ДБ-ЛК — (Дальний Бомбардировщик – Летающее Крыло) — экспериментальный двухфюзеляжный самолет с крылом обратной стреловидности, в конце тридцатых годов в Советском Союзе.
От машин такого же назначения, состоявших на вооружении, новый самолёт отличался прежде всего своим необычным видом.
ТГ-5 — советский проект сверхтяжёлого танка массой более 1000 тонн межвоенного периода. Разрабатывался в 1931 году конструкторским бюро завода «Большевик» ОКБ-5 под руководством
немецкого инженера-конструктора Эдварда Гротте.

И-250 (МиГ-13) — первый советский цельнометаллический одноместный скоростной истребитель разработки ОКБ Микояна и Гуревича.
Бутылкомёт системы Цукермана — ружейный гранатомёт — бутылкомет конструкции Вениамина Цукермана, изобретённый и запущенный в производство в июле 1942 года. Предназначался для
метания бутылок с горючей жидкостью.
ДБ-ЛК — (Дальний Бомбардировщик – Летающее Крыло) — экспериментальный двухфюзеляжный самолет с крылом обратной стреловидности, в конце тридцатых годов в Советском Союзе.
От машин такого же назначения, состоявших на вооружении, новый самолёт отличался прежде всего своим необычным видом.
ТГ-5 — советский проект сверхтяжёлого танка массой более 1000 тонн межвоенного периода. Разрабатывался в 1931 году конструкторским бюро завода «Большевик» ОКБ-5 под руководством
немецкого инженера-конструктора Эдварда Гротте.
ТБ-6 (второе название АНТ-26) — проект советского тяжёлого бомбардировщика, разрабатывавшийся в Советском Союзе в 30-х годах прошлого века. Если бы он был построен, он был бы самым большим советским бомбардировщиком и самым большим
самолетом по размаху крыльев своего времени.
БМ-13 — советская боевая машина реактивной артиллерии, периода Великой Отечественной войны, наиболее массовая советская боевая машина (БМ) этого класса. Наиболее широко известна под народным прозвищем «Катюша», солдаты Третьего рейха называли её «орга́н
Сталина» из-за звука, издаваемого оперением ракет. Казалось бы такое знакомое и обычное для нас оружие, оно на тот момент действительно было необычным и крутым.
