Воркута – место, неприспособленное для жизни людей. Это яркий пример того, что происходит с советскими моногородами, если там нет ничего, кроме градообразующего предприятия, а сам город построен на костях заключённых ГУЛАГа.

Жители Воркуты сегодня являются заложниками Севера. Квартиры здесь ничего не стоят, продать их невозможно, а деньги на переезд есть не у многих. Поэтому даже несмотря на то, что Воркута – самый быстровымирающий город России, здесь всё ещё теплится жизнь.
