Березники: жизнь в ожидании провала | НЕИЗВЕСТНАЯ РОССИЯ
Березники — один из самых загадочных городов России. Внешне так похожий на многие индустриальные центры, в своих недрах он изрыт бесчисленными туннелями шахт, которые словно образовали ещё один, уже подземный город. Он постоянно напоминает о себе огромными провалами в грунте и трескающимися домами. При этом никто точно не знает, где и когда в следующий раз раздвинется земля и к каким последствиям это приведёт.
Ягоднинский район Колымы — место далекое и труднодоступное. Отсюда до Магадана — полтысячи километров. И здесь находится одна из главных золотоносных жил России.
Быть может поэтому сюда, в эти бескрайние леса и пустоши Колымы, сгоняли заключенных ГУЛАГа, добывать, в нечеловечески трудных условиях, золото для страны. Сегодня от лагерных бараков остались лишь развалины. А бывшие поселки зэков-старателей стоят пустые. Золото же, в основном, добывают частные артели.
Здесь, на приисках Ягоднинского района, нет ни электричества, ни газа, ни сотовой связи. Только полторы сотни золотодобытчиков-вахтовиков, что приезжают сюда, на холодные окраины России, за длинным рублем — со всей страны и даже из ближнего зарубежья. Они живут в тайге по 8 месяцев и работают по 12-14 часов в день. За этот свой тяжкий труд золотодобытчики старейшей колымской артели \«Кривбасс\» получают от 150 до 400 тысяч рублей в месяц.
И как раз сейчас артель заканчивает свой 46-й золотой сезон. Руководство подсчитывает прибыль, а старатели — оставшиеся до окончания вахты дни. Вот-вот они отправятся по домам — тратить свои трудовые миллионы. Чтобы уже через два месяца вновь вернуться на золотые прииски Колымы.
Понять древнюю историю бывает нелегко. Мы думаем, что всё разгадали, но всего одно открытие может перевернуть наши представления с ног на ноги.

I filmed this relaxing beach scene in The Cape of Good Hope section of Table Mountain National Park, South Africa. I love the fresh aquamarine color of the water and the soft light of the misty morning. The sounds of the waves and lapping water around the rocks was also perfect at this spot and should really help you to feel that you are right there with me.
Watching relaxing nature videos is a great way to unwind after a stressful day.
