Голоса птиц Как поёт Дрозд Рябинник (Turdus pilaris)
Английское название: Fieldfare
Один из самых известных дроздов. Размеры средние: масса 75–130 г, длина тела 24–29 см. Характерна манера задирать хвост кверху и одновременно приспускать крылья, особенно при беспокойстве.

Описание. Отличается от других дроздов окраской верха тела: голова и низ спины до надхвостья серые, по верху спины и основанию крыльев — каштаново-коричневая «мантия», хвост тёмно-бурый, гораздо темнее остального верха, подкрылья белые. Самка слабо отличается от самца буроватыми тонами на серых участках оперения, менее ярким коричневым цветом на спине, менее чёткими пестринами снизу. Сезонные изменения в окраске незначительны, осенью появляется больше рыжины на груди, клюв становится вместо жёлтого (у основания) буровато-охристым. Молодые птицы сверху пёстрые, наиболее чёткий отличительный признак от других дроздов — тёмный хвост, к концу лета молодые становятся похожими на взрослых.

Голос. Весьма крикливы. В стаях чаще всего слышны короткие визги, шепелявое «пщии-пщии», при беспокойстве — громкая трескотня «тррр-тррр...», «чррр-чррр...», резкое «чак-чак...», визги, кудахтанья и др. Песня в полёте состоит из щебетаний, скрипов, визгов и квохтаний, торопливая и неразборчивая, похожая на подпесню белобровика. Другой вариант песни исполняют, сидя высоко на дереве, как и другие дрозды, при этом выкрикивают всего один или несколько резких трещащих или «циркающих» звуков. Вообще поют мало, в основном в предгнездовое время.

Говоря о щегле, хочется в двух словах описать его так, чтобы читающие сразу поняли всю прелесть этого маленького хрупкого создания, райской птички, иначе её и не назовешь.

Щегол птичка ростом с воробья, глазки как две бусинки, на маленькой изящной головке красуется разноцветная шапочка, спереди красная, на затылке черная с черным крестиком на темени, все это дополняют коричневые пятнышки на грудке. Щечки у щегла белоснежные, клювик чаще всего разноцветный, белый или розовый с серым кончиком, крылышки, спинка, грудка и брюшко пестреют желтыми, белыми и красными крапинками, хвостик черный.

Щеглы единственные из певчих птиц, у которых самец и самка по окраске практически не различимы. Фото в статье для тех, кто впервые решил купить щегла, выбор этой птицы всегда проблема. Какая разница скажете вы кого покупать самку или самца, большая! Самцы поют и некоторые не хуже канарейки, а вот певчие самочки у щеглов попадаются редко, правда знатоки утверждают, что пение самки щегла более нежное и красивое, но попробуй угадать, какая из самок запоет? А ведь щеглы даже в неволе поют много, практически круглый год, и при этом живут в неволе до 20 лет.
