Enjoy driving in rain for sleeping with AC sounds and a black screen as we ride into dreamland!

For this week's relaxing sleep video, we go on a mountain rain ride in this old school diesel Mercedes 300D. This video specifically combines three relaxing sleep sounds. The first is the low rumble, of the turbo diesel engine which becomes a distant background sound once we start the drive. The second is the calming, soft rain sounds dropping on the metal roof and windshield as we travel at about 40 MPH through the beginning of the Smokey Mountains. Lastly, the loudest sound of them all, is the whooshing white noise of the air conditioner as we turn it on the highest level, to stay cool during this summer rain ride.

Multiple Go Pro's, A Nikon 7500, A Mavic Pro Drone, a trusty Tascam DR 100 MK3 for most of the audio recordings, a range of microphones including a Sure 57 for that nice low end sound. For production of both video and audio I exclusively use Adobe Premiere Pro. If you have any questions about how I recorded something, just send me a message and i will reply.

수프 애청자, 구독자 여러분!
정말 오랜만이네요ㅠ 덕분에 여름 휴가 잘 다녀왔어요.

휴가 기간 동안도 온갖 소리에 귀를 쫑긋거리며
많은 소리들을 녹음해 왔는데요.
녹음을 수십 번 해도 정작 집에 와서 들어보면
마음에 드는 소리는 몇 개 밖에 되지 않아 늘 아쉽더라고요.
사진도 여러 장 찍어 마음에 드는 걸 하나 고르는 것처럼
소리도 그런 거라 생각하면 당연한 일이 아닌가 싶기도 하고요. :)

비행기를 탈 일이 있을 때마다 녹음을 했는데
마음에 드는 소리가 없어 올리지 못하다가
이번에 꽤 마음에 드는 소리가 녹음 돼서
드디어! 비행기 소리를 올립니다.
많은 분들이 요청해 주시기도 했었는데요.

이번 소리가 가장 마음에 드는 이유는
나름의 기승전결이 있다는 점입니다.

비행기에 탑승해서 나오는 광고와 안내 방송,
엔진에 시동이 걸리면서 잠이 가장 잘 오는 소리가 시작이 되고요,
이륙하면서부터는 소리가 좀 강해졌다가
하늘 위에 안착하고 다시 안정화되는
4단계의 사운드를 들으실 수 있도록 했답니다.

수면용에 맞춰 만들었기 때문에
시간이 길지 않은 점 이해 부탁드리고요.
비행기는 차이나 항공(대만)이라 중국어가 많이 들려요!

저는 이상하게 비행기에 타서 부터 이륙하는 동안
잠이 제일 잘 오더라고요.
그래서 눈뜨면 하늘 위일 때가 많지요. :D

비행기 소리는 다른 소리들에 비해 자극적이고 강하니
볼륨을 너무 크게 하지 마시고요-

시원한 바람이 불어 오늘 밤은 편안하게 잘 수 있을 것 같아요.
