Strong wind gusts blowing after the rain storm passed by, swaying the trees. This kind of wind gusts are not usual during the summer in these forests, but this year it happened a few times. For me the wind sound from the distance is very relaxing and sounds almost like ocean waves, but when you're in the middle of the forest and the trees are bending above your head it's quite scary.

This storm ambience will hopefully trigger some good memories of sitting inside while the rain is punishing the windows and the trees are being beaten by the gusts of wind. It makes you wanna stay indoors and to curl up on the couch or under the blankets, warm and cozy…

We think the video is perfect to filter out unwanted background noises (when you suffer from tinnitus) or to use as a sleeping aid (insomnia), and to enhance focus/concentration.

In this storm ambience the wind is quite present on the foreground because the window was slightly opened while recording the rain falling against the glass of the window. If you listen closely, you can actually hear the sound of the wind blowing through the small opening of the window producing a subtle howling sound.
