— Pink Noise is often considered a superior sleep aid to white noise because it more closely mimics sounds found in nature. The frequency profile of pink noise has the same statistical fluctuations found in all sorts of natural phenomena, including waterfalls, heart beats, the firing of neurons, and even quasars, the most distant known objects in the universe.

It's great for sleep, meditation, masking unwanted sounds, and many say it works wonders for tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Because it closely resembles natural sound, like that found in the womb, babies and toddlers love it for nap time too.
