Date Recorded:06/20/2019 I recorded this storm with a Tascam dr44, wind muff, and sunpak tripod. This storm was recorded on my property and on the road at different locations using radarscope to track the storm. I edited the storm in Sony Vegas, Soundforge, and Audacity. The lightning footage was filmed on the go with my Samsung Galaxy. Artwork done by David A Keller and Lia Smazik using Autodesk sketchbook and other means owned by myself David A Keller. It gives you that calm soothing feeling of relaxation and peace that makes you feel safe. I've been listening to rain since I was 16 yrs old and always felt a connection to its sound. When it first starts from the smell rain exudes to the symphony of distant thunder it emanates. The sound of water droplets falling into puddles and white noise that sends positive vibes throughout my body. Pure relaxation at its finest with deep concentration of thoughts blooming throughout your mind. The raindrops reach out and tickle your soul with each splash that lands. I sleep to it, write to it, use for deep moments of mindful rest, and just as a background ambiance in my every day life. Sleep well everyone.

Starship | SN8 | High-Altitude Flight Test



On Wednesday, December 9, Starship serial number 8 (SN8) lifted off from our Cameron County launch pad and successfully ascended, transitioned propellant, and performed its landing flip maneuver with precise flap control to reach its landing point. Low pressure in the fuel header tank during the landing burn led to high touchdown velocity resulting in a hard (and exciting!) landing.

Thank you to all the locals supporting our efforts in Cameron County and beyond. Congratulations to the entire Starship and SpaceX teams on today’s test! Serial number 9 (SN9) is up next – Mars, here we come!
