When we were traveling through Norway in the campervan, we encountered quite a few rainstorms and of course I couldn't resist to try to capture the atmosphere of sitting inside and recording the relaxing rain hitting the roof and the windows to produce that ultra relaxing and rhythmic sound that most of us love!

I thought it worked out quite well and especially the sound is as if you're there!

Rain sounds are very well suited when suffer from insomnia (sleeping problems), and to block out unwanted noises from your surroundings (noise blocking). Also if you suffer from tinnitus, these sounds can give some relief (tinnitus masking).

This recording is best enjoyed with stereo headphones, but can also be listened to via (PC) speakers.

Walking in Thunderstorm at Night, Rain and Umbrella Ambience Sounds for Sleep and Study | 4k



Had a big thunderstorm the other night outside of my Airbnb. So I decided to walk around the neighbourhood and record for a bit. Originally I had planned to do 1 continuous video, but I quickly realized how difficult and heavy it is to balance a massive camera and gimbal in 1 hand and an umbrella in the other, which is why I had to cut the footage up in order to rest. To make matters worse, I did arm workouts the previous night, so I was extra sore. However, I just invested in a smaller set up along with a new binaural microphone to help shoot these kinds of videos. Enjoy!
